My name is Ayo — a Product Designer with close to 5 years of experience driving design consistency, user satisfaction, and revenue growth through successful product launches. Proven track record in conducting user research and usability testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to launch new products and features.
I also mentor young designers that are part of the doing the Nedbank design graduate programme and at the early stages of their careers. I assist with their learning paths in relation to design process, user research, stakeholder management and specialization.
Off the clock, I’m a football enthusiast, whether I'm playing or watching - the teamwork and strategy I love in football are the same principles I apply to design—creating solutions that are both beautiful and functional.

Designed intuitive and engaging features for Nedbank's MoneyApp and online banking platforms, spanning insurance, card payments, and bill payments. Collaborated closely with business analysts and technical teams to understand requirements and constraints, employing a design thinking methodology. Conducted user research and competitor analysis, serving as both UX and UI designer to create intuitive interfaces. Oversaw multiple projects, assigned tasks to junior designers, and presented solutions to stakeholders in design workshops.

Contributed to internal projects like the company website redesign and facilitated UI/UX bootcamps for design graduates. Consistently delivered high-quality work at client (Nedbank), earning praise from senior stakeholders. Developed client relationships, supported marketing and sales, and added value to the IQbusiness community and foundations like Tomorrow Trust and CHOC. Mentored graduate and junior designers.
